What is live streaming?

Televeda's live streaming platform is a virtual, interactive experience that users enjoy from the comfort of their home. You can connect to a live class from your favorite device and see the instructor and fellow participants in real time.

To participate in class interactively, you’ll need a webcam on your computer or device. You can join classes from your SmartTV, iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, or Windows device!

Classes are aired live over a 2-way platform, so you can view the instructor and other participants in class with you as you talk, interact, and make lasting friendships.

I don't belong to a senior community. Can I still join televëda?

Of course! If you are an adult over 65, you are welcome! We love meeting new users every day!

How do I sign my parents/grandparents up for televëda?

It’s easy!

Head to our Televeda subscription page to purchase a subscription.

You’ll then receive email instructions on how to get them registered.

Why does Televeda work on Microsoft Edge, but not Internet Explorer?

At this time, our platform does not run on Internet Explorer. We suggest using Safari or Google Chrome for the best experience.

Why doesn't Televeda work on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox on my iPhone or iPad?

Currently, the WebRTC streaming protocol is not supported on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for iPhones or iPads. You would need to use the Apple Safari browser on all iPhones/iPads for now!

What is the Empowered Living class schedule?

Empowered Living classes are offered throughout the week. Classes are listed in local time at your senior living community and with your inhome caregiver agency. If you can’t attend an in-person class at your community, you can engage in a virtual class through Empowered Living Livestream.

How do I become an Empowered Living Producer (i.e. instructor)?

We’re always looking to grow our amazing community of Empowered Living Producers! If you’re interested in becoming a rock star producer, connect with us on social media or at info@televeda.com. We’re excited to hear from you!

How do I book an Empowered Living class?

Empowered Living classes are offered onsite at our partner senior living communities, and broadcasted live through Empowered Living Livestream. Currently, Empowered Living Livestream is offered exclusively to residents at our senior living partners and to members serviced by our partner non-medical home care agencies.

What is Empowered Living?

Finally, an invigorating workout experience for adults that is not just about the body but, includes exercising the brain as well! Imagine this, your favorite song comes on. You start humming along and tapping your fingers and feet. Soon you are swaying to the music. Your mood instantly lifts and before you know it you are grooving to the beat! No leotards, yoga pants, leg warmers, or ballet shoes required. Now that you have burned calories and your brain is energized, it’s time to solve scrambled words with the rest of the group.

Empowered Living is a body and brain workout experience specially designed for individuals 65+ that engages the body, brain and spirit. Empowered Living involves physical therapy based movements, familiar energetic music from the 1930’s to present, brain games and active socialization among the participants.
