No cost. This is a community wellness initiative. BingoPalooza™ is entirely free for individuals to join from home, and free for in-person attendees at registered centers.

As an individual player at home all you need is a device with internet access. If you're playing in-person, you can visit a participating center near you and they will provide you with the materials needed.

Individuals playing at any of our participating centers will be provided with game rules. Otherwise, those joining from online can find the rules here.

The event is scheduled to last 2 hours in total, and game play will last 1 hour.

Hybrid bingo means that players are joining in to play the same bingo games in-person or virtually at the same time following the same rules. It's super fun via the Televeda platform.

We’re hosting BingoPalooza to bring together bingo lovers across the state of Hawaii. But we also created this event to bring awareness to social isolation.

Social isolation is a deadly issue: prolonged loneliness can put one at risk for chronic health conditions and increase the risk of premature mortality. Unfortunately, the community centers that are working to manage social isolation are underfunded and overworked.

BingoPalooza is a health-and-wellness community initiative with the mission to bring awareness to the impact of loneliness on our health. It’s fully-funded by SPONSOR so there is no cost to participate. In fact, registered community centers are free programming and additional perks.

Become a venue

By leveraging technology, we’re re-imagining how we play bingo together as a community. This unique hybrid event will connect all regional Hawaii senior centers as well as welcome individuals who are unable to visit a center in person.

The goal of this event is to both raise awareness of social isolation and to fight it – by empowering our local communities with technologies and services that help them to foster social connectedness.

Televeda is a social venture with a mission to combat social isolation and loneliness for vulnerable populations through live streaming technology, community building events, and professional services.
